SERENE is an international curator of wellness and conscious living, committed to connecting like-minded individuals interested in living a grounded and healthy life. We define health beyond what one physically puts into their body—it extends to what a person takes in mentally, visually, spiritually and emotionally. SERENE has an exciting summer ahead and is seeking exceptional individuals to join our team. We are seeking interns to work 15-20 hours a week working in New York City, Los Angeles, and London (and remotely as necessary). This is an unpaid opportunity, but college credit can be arranged.

EVENT INTERNS

Responsibilities:
Assisting the lead staff with event logistics and execution (light set up/breakdown)
Capturing social media opportunities and event coverage/blog posts
Provide outstanding customer service
Supporting Lead staff with administrative tasks
Recruiting community influencers

Requirements:
Must reside in the New York, Los Angeles, or London metro areas
Great communication skills
Friendly, people person
An eye for detail
Self-starter comfortable taking initiative
Strong interpersonal, verbal (e-mail and phone) skills
Passionate about the wellness and mindfulness community
Membership and or community building background a major plus

EDITORIAL INTERNS

Responsibilities:
Input content quickly and efficiently into the CMS.
Ensure articles are free of typos or grammatical errors.
Fact check content prior to publication, paying special attention to wellness trends, influencers, product launches, and other similar initiatives.
Optimize articles for cross-channel publishing.
Resize, edit, and repurpose photos as necessary.
Develop unique concepts for original content.
Draft and develop content such as post-event coverage on a weekly basis.
Light moderation of social media accounts.
Assist content strategist and editors in executing the content and social strategies.
Maintain the Google docs in top order for ease of use.
Support SEO goals and objectives.
Drive marketing and growth requests as necessary.

Requirements:
Must live in the New York, Los Angeles, or London metro areas
Must be available 15-20 per week (with an early start on Thursdays)
Must have a reliable laptop to work remotely
Previous editorial/online publishing experience preferable, but not essential
Awareness of wellness culture
Excellent time management skills
Self-starter mentality

Videographers

Do you like holistic health? Yoga? Rooftops? Sunshine? Are you a budding filmmaker?

We are seeking Videographer/Editor interns based in New York, Los Angeles, and London this summer.

This position is for well-organized, motivated, trained and creative individuals (hello, film students) looking to build their portfolio.

The Videographers are responsible for filming weekly content and creating long and short videos for the SERENE Social site and social channels.

Requirements:
Must have own equipment (camera, sound, lighting, editing software, etc.)
Knowledge of pre-production as well as post-production
Familiarity with ADOBE premier
Extensive knowledge of SnapChat highly desired
